You Can’t See Yourself in Puzzle Competitions
The reason to record competitive puzzling is simple. You can’t see yourself in action. And honestly, at the beginning of my puzzling journey, I was a hot mess (so I’m glad I didn’t have to at that point…LOL) What does happen when you see yourself, is you start to realized, in a very logical fashion, what you can do to change your jigsaw puzzle play. Which will help your speed completion times greatly.
Record Puzzle Competitions in Sections or In Full
What it important to point out is you don’t need to record speed puzzling play for an entire hour. You can if you want to, but 10 minutes or 15 minutes is a good place to start. What I found out is if you speed up the film, you will see repetitive moves that may not be helping you (or maybe you should do them more). You will see actions and reaction you didn’t realize you did in the moment. To record speed puzzling is really a great tool before you go to a puzzle competition.
